Take the Corporate Out of Your Cubicle
Corporate life can be tough. When you have to spend most of your time answering to “the man,” staring at a computer screen, and staying within the confines of a 90 square foot cubicle, your day-to-day can get depressing fast. Sometimes it’s difficult to get through the day. To help myself get through the daily struggle, I post inspirational quotes on my walls. In the example above, I started by uploading a simple picture of the sky with plenty of blank space. I then went into Edits and used the Smoothing Tool to create a better pallet for my text. Next, I went into Artsy and applied the Watercolor Filter to make my image more colorful and interesting. For the last step, I added my quote.

When adding text, be sure to use dark fonts on light spaces, be mindful of line breaks and use different font sizes for emphasis. The end result is a poster that appears professional and keeps me motivated through the daily BS.
Escape
On any given day, I spend a good amount of time sitting in my cubicle dreaming about places I’d rather be. On some days, I climb to the top of snowy Northwest peaks. Other days, I relax on the white sands of tropical beaches. But no matter where I feel like traveling, framed images of exotic locations help to transport me there. For the image above, first I took a photograph of an enticing beach scene. I then went into Artsy and lightly applied the Impressionist Filter, to add depth. Lastly, I went into Frames and added a natural wood frame, which complimented the scene and helps wash my corporate blues away.
Reminisce
If photographs of beautiful locations aren’t enough to help you forget where you are, maybe reminiscing about better times will. To keep me uplifted throughout the day, I keep collages of loved ones on my cubicle walls.
