How to Design Motivational Instagram Quotes
Now that you’re feeling inspired, it’s time to head to the Graphic Designer to create your own motivational Instagram quote!
For this tutorial, we’re going to use the ‘edgy’ template we discussed above, but of course, you’re welcome to work with any Instagram Template of your choosing. You can locate these in the Templates Library by navigating to Social Media > Instagram Posts. When you wish to proceed with a template, simply click on it, followed by Use This Template.
Firstly, you’ll want to swap out the template’s existing image for one of your own, or one more suited to your Instagram aesthetic. To do this, just click on the image, then from the Image Properties toolbar that appears, click Replace. This will allow you to locate an image file from your Computer.
Alternatively, you can use a stock image from our huge library instead. To access this, navigate to Image Manager in the main menu on the left, then click Search Stock Images.
In the library, you can type your search term into the search bar or browse popular search tags. Click on the image(s) you wish to use and these will be added to your Image Manager. From the Image Manager, you can then double-click the image you wish to add to your template.
With your desired image now in place, it’s time to change your template’s existing quote to one you wish to share with your following. To do this, double-click the text box you wish to change and type what you’d like it to say.
You’ll also notice that when you click on any text box, a Text Properties toolbar appears. From here, you can change things such as Font, Text Size, Text Color, Spacing, and more.
To change your text’s color, simply click on the colored square next to the Text Size. This will open up the Color Palette, where you can select your desired color. You can also type in the color’s HEX Code (if you know it) or use the Eyedropper Tool to select a color already present in your template.
There are heaps of fonts to choose from, including ones which offer additional variations, such as Medium, Bold, Extra Bold, etc.
Want to move any of your elements around? Just click and drag them using your mouse.
Ta-da! Doesn’t that look good? To save your work, just click Save at the top of the screen, before selecting your desired save location. Easy!
